Tracking Time - Seeing how much time was estimated on a service when you track time

Do you want your staff to be able to see the estimated number of hours for an internal service, or the actual number of hours to date against a service when they are tracking their time to that Service? In Function Point, you do have the option to remove that information from the Timesheet add tile on the Dashboard. Follow the steps below to remove or add this visibility.

Note: On the "Classic" view dashboard, the Timesheet window is to the far left - this may be different on your dashboard, if you have customized your layout.

Setting this option on or off

Setting this option on or off

From the Admin menu, choose System Set Up > System Preferences.

Choose the tab called Time. Here, you'll see an option to "Show Hours for Services." Note that having this setting on or off, will make it on or off for all staff. You cannot control this by staff member.

Click Submit in the bottom right to save any changes.
