How To Re-Connect to QuickBooks Online

QuickBooks Online and Function Point are both online software services. As such, server connection issues between the two may mean that the integration needs to be re-authorized. Follow the quick steps below to make this happen.

Disconnecting your QuickBooks Online Account will break your accounting integration. Your Expenses and Invoices will no longer be synced to QuickBooks.

After disconnecting, you may choose to reconnect to QuickBooks Online using the same or different account, or update your accounting package within Office Preferences.

Please note: The person who performs these steps will need to know the email address and password for the agency administrator of QuickBooks.

Step 1:

From the Admin menu, choose Integrate Accounting > Setup QuickBooks Integration.

Step 2:

Click the link to disconnect your QuickBooks Online account.

Step 3:

Click "Disconnect from QuickBooks."

Step 4:

Click "Reconnect to QuickBooks Online."

Step 5:

Click to Connect, and then click Authorize on your final screen.
